5. What is ID verification? How do I verify my identity?

Some courts require that students verify their identity prior to taking the final exam. ID verification is done either online, by asking you a series of questions that only you can answer, or in person through a notary public.

All students will be given the opportunity to verify online. However, not every student will be able to verify their identity online due to any number of reasons.

  • New social security number.
  • Inability to locate name in data base due to lack of identifying information.

If you are unable to, or do not wish to, verify your ID online, you may verify your ID through a notary public.

If you choose to verify your ID through a notary public, you will print the final exam, fill in the answer sheet, and then take the answer sheet to a notary public to have it notarized. You will then need to fax the answer sheet to our business office. We will then grade your final exam and e-mail you the results.
